HydraWell’s Chief Commercial Officer Tom Leeson to Co-Present at the SPE Well Abandonment Symposium
We are pleased to announce that Tom Leeson, our Chief Commercial Officer will be presenting at the SPE Well Abandonment Symposium alongside Johan Kverneland from TotalEnergies.
The SPE Aberdeen Well Abandonment Symposium will run for its 11th year and will bring together those specialising in the areas of abandonment and decommissioning operations from major operators, service companies and regulators.
In this presentation, they will both present the paper titled “The Next Generation of PWC, a Route to Further Reducing Overall P&A Costs and CO2 Emissions” which focuses specifically on the capabilities of HydraWell’s coiled tubing deployed HydraCTTM PWC system and demonstrate both its successfully trialling and the potential cost and CO2 emission savings that switching to using this system can deliver.
Tom and Johan will also discuss the results of a system Integration test (SIT) carried out at the NORCE testing facilities in Stavanger, sponsored by Total, designed to function test a number of innovative abandonment technologies.
